Supery Gooey Dark Chocolate Brownies

This week I wanted to make some awesome brownies that I have been baking up at work, at home. Lucky for you, I decided to film the whole thing as well. So now I won’t be the only one getting to enjoy these awesomely gooey brownies. In just under an hour (bake time included) you can go from brownie-less to growling at the person next to you trying to steal the last one. These are my favorite not just because they stay soft for more than a few days but because they’re accentuated by almond extract that add an incredible second layer to the dominant chocolate taste.

Servings: 25 brownies

Level: Easy

Prep Time: 40 minutes


Canola oil


Dark chocolate chips

Granulated sugar


Baking soda

Almond extract


AP flour

Cocoa powder

1/4 c.

1/2 c.

1 c.

1.5 c.

1/4 t.

1/4 t.

2 t.

3 E.

1 c.

3/4 c.


In a microwave safe bowl, combine oil, margarine, and chocolate chips. Heat for 1 minute to melt. Mix in the wet ingredients. Then add the dry ingredients until just combined.

Transfer into a well greased baking dish and bake at 325F for 35 minutes. 


To Serve:

Eat them while they're still warm! Or save them for later.


Cooking note:

An inserted toothpick should come out un-clean as these brownies should be slightly under baked.

Store in an airtight container.
